I hate disappointing people.  Whether it's not playing a song someone wants to hear or appearing less-than-interested when a listener approaches me at Publix when I'm shopping with my kids, I hate disappointing folks.  

I really do try to be "on" at all times, but unfortunately sometimes people catch me at a not-so-good moment and I disappoint them.  I'm really sorry that this is my reality.  

But when you really think about it...isn't this the reality for all of us?  We all have moments that we're hoping no one sees how we're really feeling or looking.  Sadly, when we are seen or heard having "one of those moments", we can create a bad impression, and that isn't anyone's desire.

I was thinking that if we all learned to live graciously with one another, we'd be more like the body that Jesus empowers us to be.  Just my thoughts...
