Being a Good Dad is HARD!
My kids will tell you - sometimes I'm "Silly Daddy"...sometimes I'm "Here Are The Rules" Daddy. I feel a bit scizophrenic as a parent because I present a different side of myself to my kids depending on the situation. Is this normal? Am I being inconsistent? Should I aim for somewhere in the middle and stay there?
This whole parenting thing is really hard and I admittedly find that it doesn't always come natural to me. I'm so afraid that I'm going to damage my kids by the way I relate to them.
Someone told me that our job as parents is to prepare our kids to live on their own someday. That means I have to take advantage of every "teaching" moment that is there...but maybe silly dad is good sometimes, too.

Christian Health Ministries is an organization of volunteer licensed physicians and therapists dedicated to healing the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. Our mission is to treat those suffering from pain of many causes, but without the finances to afford needed help. We treat acute and chronic pain, such as those with:
Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue
Headaches
Neck and back pain
Foot and ankle pain
Joint pains and injuries
We work with the Florida Volunteer Health Services Program. To be eligible for our services, you must have no insurance and have income less than 150% of the federal poverty level. A financial screening will be completed upon arrival at our clinic. All care is provided on a first come basis. Sorry, we cannot make appointments. Our free services include:
Comprehensive Medical treatment
Chiropractic
Podiatry
Physical Therapy and Therapeutic Exercise
Massage Therapy
Counseling and Prayer
Nutrition and Lifestyle Education
