Fainting Goats
Jeff thought this was really funny... Steve, not nearly as amused

See You at the Pole was this Wednesday, and it was amazing the phone calls we received all morning long from parents and students and teachers talking about what See You at the Pole meant for them - and reports on how many students were at the different flag poles around Southwest Florida. Here is a map with the different schools who reported in and how many students were around the flag pole at each:
Today's New Music Tuesday artist is Jordin Sparks with her latest single "One Step at a Time". You can listen to the song here.
You may remember Jordin from American Idol; she has been very outspoken about her faith.
Thank you so much this week for your generous support of the Diaper Drive for those devastated by Hurricane Ike! We asked, and you responded. You brought out 21 pallets full of diapers and wipes, filling the semi-truck. Many throughout Texas now will have diapers and wipes for their little ones. So once again, thank you! You can see more pictures here (more added 9/22)
WAY-FM Diaper Drive Drop Off Locations
Starting today at noon and going through 7PM on Thursday, we are collecting diapers and wipes to benefit those in areas devastated by Hurricane Ike.
We are partnering with Convoy of Hope to help bring relief. With power outages, flooding, and storm damage keeping stores closed, families have already begun to run out of essential supplies.
The need is great - would you consider helping by either dropping off diapers at one of our drop off locations and/or by giving of your time to help us stack and organize diapers at our Lee County drop off location?
In case you're unsure of just how bad the devastation in Texas is, check out just one of the many videos of damage below:

This morning we were discussing church signs and asking the question - "Do they bring people in OR do they push people away?" No matter what you think, we thought this website has some great examples for you to check out
Let us know what you think about the church signs by commenting!
Today's song for New Music Tuesday is "By Your Side" by Tenth Avenue North. Listen to the song here
